The Artic blister is almost over according to the calender we have just passed through the Vernal Equinox which the onset of SPRING...Hallelulah!!!
'course 'at don't mean squat; we could and probably will experience afew hard freezin' nights and several snow "incidents".
Right now the sugar maples' sap is runin fast and furious and every mother's son and his son are collecting sap as another age old tradition of making maple syrup is being passed along to another generation. When my mom and dad were kids they did it out of necessity...to help stretch the allmighty buck. ohhh the tales I could tell if I could just remember half of what I've heard in this phase...Happy printemp (sp?)

yeah...families come in all shapes and sizes;
ours is way extended, nurtured by much Love,
and gets new members every time I turn around which is just Grand to me.

In this arctic winter we need all the family we can get just to be able to pull up another to keep warm...
